Contemporary with Nicole Wolcott
Length: 69 min. Level: Intermediate Space: Large
Class Description:
This vigorous class offers the dancing artist a studio practice to bolster kinesthetic intelligence and engage in clear choice making. We will use curiosity and a sense of humor in a playful, but rigorous investigation of contemporary technique and move quickly into dancing. We will play with movement phrases, considering weight, effort, time and flow while encouraging risk in our performance. The entire class encourages authenticity as well as joy in movement. Get to know the movement in your body, get to know yourself. Come play.
Music: Kyle Olson
Dancers: Davonna Batt, Mikayla Robinson, and Amber Weissma
