This class begins with a slow, deep warm up and progresses to full-throttle physicality in a contemporary modern style. Dancers are encouraged to revel in their physicality through sensation based and skill building cues. Expect weight shifting, yoga based preparations, tendus, leg swings and back exercises, bouncing, small jumps, and gentle inversions. This class asks dancers to both produce power and move with fluid ease. Move big and bold (even in a small space!) with this beginner level modern class.
