Megan LeCrone
Megan LeCrone is a soloist ballerina who has experience teaching ballet to all ages and levels both in the United States and internationally.
In addition to having her own private client base, she has been a guest teacher for the Joffery Ballet School, Ballet in the City, Art Without Borders, Ballet Together, Ballet Collective, CC Royal Ballet Shanghai, Le Phare Bukavu Congo, and now Dancio.
Megan joined the New York City Ballet in the fall of 2001 and was promoted to soloist in 2013. Prior to her engagement with the company she trained at the School of American Ballet, the North Carolina School of the Arts, and was a guest performer at the Hungarian National Ballet Academy. She has also trained with the Paris Opera Ballet, the Royal Danish Ballet, and the Mariinsky Ballet.
Her repertoire includes soloist and principal roles in numerous ballets by ballets by Geroge Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Peter Martins, Christopher Wheeldon, Alexei Ratmansky, William Forsythe, Angelin Prejolcaj, Wayne McGregor, Benjamin Millipied, and Mauro Bigonzetti, and Andonis Foniodakis.
Additionally, she has worked with Justin Peck, Ohad Naharin, Elad Lassry, Zack Winokur, Gerard and Kelly, Celia Rowlson-Hall, Jason Kittelberger, Henry Leutwyler, Howard Schatz, Olivier Theyskens, Christian Dior, Sebastian Bertaud, Adeline Andre, Peter Lindberg, Bill Cunningham, Mark Seliger, Asgeir, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, YEEZY, SONY, 13 Bonaparte, Humberto Leon and Opening Ceremony, Nowness, and VOGUE for various performance art projects, movement workshops, films, music videos, commercials, editorial shoots, portraits, advertisements, features, and presentations for both couture and ready to wear.
Megan attended Columbia University and enjoys traveling and volunteering.
