Angel kaba

Angel Kaba is an International artistic director and award-winning choreographer based in Brooklyn, New York. Currently, she is a professor at Rider University, and a faculty member at Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey Extension, and Steps on Broadway. Her artistic career began with ballet at the tender age of 6, which she pursued for more than 15 years.

Throughout her career, Angel has shared the stage with artists like Rihanna, Kanya West, Alfonso Ribeiro, and others. Further notable experiences include stage/television/commercial performances and dancing for world-renowned brands like Coca Cola, Levi Strauss & Co, Fructis by Garnier, Nutella, and Universal.

Angel is also the founder of the platform Afro’Dance New York, created in 2016 to celebrate diversity, community, and global culture. As an African Caribbean woman from The Republique Democratique of Congo and Martinique, Angel is passionate about uplifting black experiences and stories from around the globe.
